No. You connect your broker account and we read the record from there. You can still analyse uploaded files in Quantprove, but they never count toward a passport.
It stays in the record. A passport shows the whole record, good months and bad. That’s what makes it worth checking. It shows past results; it doesn’t predict future profit.
After 48 hours the Data check turns grey and the passport shows the date it was verified through. Reconnect and it picks up again.
You can connect it and we check it, but the Funds check stays grey. Blue is only for real money.
Every day we compute a SHA-256 fingerprint of the whole record and anchor it on Bitcoin through OpenTimestamps. Anyone can recompute it and compare. A change isn’t blocked, it becomes visible.
