Start with the evidence you already have. Your first choice does not lock you out of the other workflows.
Choose one path#
| You already have | Start with | Result |
|---|---|---|
| A supported broker account | Broker connections | Supported new trades enter your Journal automatically. |
| Historical or simulated trades | Backtest | You establish an expectation from past evidence. |
| Trades and notes to organize | Journal | You keep one record and connect trades to Saved Systems. |
| A live account you want others to check | Broker connections | Your track record builds from broker data, the only data a Passport counts. |
Broker connections#
Choose this path when you want Quantprove to keep receiving supported new live trades.
- Open the Journal connection flow.
- Select your broker and approve access.
- Choose the correct account.
- Wait for the first sync.
- Review and assign the synced trades.
Backtest#
Choose this path when you want to judge historical evidence before comparing it with live results.
- Open Backtest.
- Upload historical or simulated trades.
- Confirm the result column, unit, dates, and row count.
- Run the analysis.
- Read the result with sample size and downside risk in view.
Journal#
Choose this path when you want one record for trades, notes, and reviews.
- Open the Journal.
- Connect a broker or import Journal data.
- Create a Saved System for one approach.
- Assign each matching trade to that system.
- Add review context as the record grows.
Learn how systems organize the Journal.
Show your record#
Choose this path when you want investors, a prop firm, or students to check your results. A Passport counts connected broker accounts only. Uploads and screenshots never count toward Verified, and demo and prop-firm accounts stay grey.
- Connect the live account you want to show.
- Let it sync. The days Quantprove watches the account live start counting from the first sync.
- Read how the Passport works to see which checks can turn Verified.
