Frequently asked questions.

Quantprove compares your strategy’s live trades with the range it normally trades in, not with your best month. It builds that range from your backtest, or from the strategy’s own older trades, checks every new trade against it and alerts you when results or drawdown move outside it. The Health Score shows how healthy the live edge is, from 0 to 100.

Quantprove Monitor calls a drawdown normal when it stays inside the range your strategy usually goes through. It measures today’s drawdown against that range and flags it in Alerts once it runs past it. What maximum drawdown means.

Connect the MT4 or MT5 account the forex EA trades on to Quantprove, and its trades sync on their own. Quantprove checks each one against the EA’s backtest, or against its own older trades if there is none, and Monitor opens at 25 live trades with a backtest or 60 without.

If the account a forex EA trades on has no new trade for 14 days, Quantprove emails you. If the broker connection fails, you get an alert in the app, and an email when the connection needs repairing.

Quantprove doesn’t tell you when to stop. It shows when live results move outside what the strategy normally does, and a normal losing week never looks like a broken strategy. Keeping it, lowering risk or stopping stays your call.

Quantprove compares your live losing streaks with the ones your backtest showed, and a streak longer than anything in the strategy’s history stands out. For a quick estimate without an account, the free max losing streak calculator shows the typical and bad-case streak for your win rate. Max losing streak calculator.
